Today felt like a smoothie kind of day so I blended up a berry orange smoothie for the kids and I for snack today. I grabbed 3 bags of fruit out of the freezer to add to my concoction.
I don’t think there is a specific time of year when you are limited to making a smoothie. A smoothie can be made whenever you want one. My daughter asked if we could break out the new Kitchenaid Blender to make some yogurt smoothies and I was “Of Course!”
The smoothies are delicious, creamy and nice and healthy so I don’t mind my kids asking for such a treat.
- 6 oz peach flavored yogurt
- 6 oz blueberry flavored yogurt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Honey
Place ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth on crush ice mode. Taste it for sweetness and add more honey if needed.
Pour, drink and enjoy!
