This meal is something that always brings me back to my childhood because my mom makes the best Breaded Fried Cube Steak. While I never can make it quite like she can, I can always get close. Nevertheless, it is very tasty and the whole family loves it!
Breaded Fried Cube Steak
6 cube steaks
3 beaten eggs
1 cup gluten free flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon parsley
salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Oil, For Frying
In a deep sided dish beat eggs.
In another deep dish mix flour, garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper.
Dip steak in egg mixture.
Next, place the meat on the plate of seasoned flour. Turn to coat thoroughly.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook meat until edges start to look golden brown; around 2 to 2 1/2 minutes each side.
Remove to a paper towel-lined plate and keep warm. Repeat until all meat is cooked.
Serve with gravy, ketchup or whatever topping you prefer.
